News and Oktoberfest

Dear members,

We would like to thank you for your participation in the Art de Vries event which was a complete success. Sunny day, warm and with a good little wind for the happiness of all.
Thank you to the volunteers without whom these events could not take place.
Thank you to the participants who came in large numbers.

On another note, September has arrived, and the racing calendar has changed, which means the bar’s opening nights have changed too.
As of this week, the restaurant bar is no longer open on Friday evenings.
On weekdays, the bar will be open according to racing hours and day, which may change.

Oktoberfest is fast approaching on Saturday, September 23.
We sent you a survey to estimate the number of participants and you responded in large numbers. You will find below a link to register:

We also have placed sheets on the bulletin board to register you with the number of participants.
We look forward to seeing you there. Another very well-organized evening by Henry. THANK YOU.

Please note that the haul out schedules are now posted on the notice board at the entrance to the clubhouse.
There will be a presentation on dismasting on Saturday September 30 at 10am. Mr. Claude Auger will be the presenter. He will answer your questions and then demonstrate the elements of his presentation at the service dock.

Don’t forget to mark October 7 in your calendar – it’s Cradle Day. What’s more, the grounds chairman will no doubt need a few volunteers.

Finally, everyone must control the vegetation in their berth area (inside and outside the frame) before 14 October.
