Sailing & Tango
After a pause of three years , we are very pleased to invite you to Sailing & Tango taking place on Saturday August 6th 2022.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, this event is created to initiate tango community members to the wonderful world of sailing and initiate sailors to the magical world of Argentinean tango. It makes for a happy marriage!
So we are hoping you will sign-up in great numbers dear captains, so that we may invite many tangueras and tangueros to join us for an afternoon of sailing and share their passion for tango with us after a group picnic.
France & François will be back this year to facilitate the tango portion of the day with a DEMO to start the evening on the right foot and lead an initiation class for everyone. DJ France will then provide the musical choices for the evening of dance inspired by the Argentinean milongas sprinkled with popular music for all to enjoy.
Here’s the schedule for the day :

* We strongly recommend everyone bring a snack and lots of water (or other refreshments) as well as sunscreen and a hat 😉
** Considering the current public health issues, we opted for a group picnic where everyone is responsible for bringing their own this year. That being the case, the BBQ will be available for all to use.
Please remember: All alcoholic beverages consumed on the grounds need to have been purchased through the IPYC which will be available for the event.

Considering that we need to know how many spots we have available prior to inviting tango community members, we ask that you PLEASE sign-up by July 23rd and tell us how many guests you would like to take onboard.
